Schaeffler India is inviting applications for Social Innovator Fellowship Program 2021 which aims to recognize and reward individuals who are developing unique solutions that have the potential to positively impact the society at scale in India.

The Schaeffler India Social Innovator Fellowship Program is for entrepreneurial people with an idea that will make positive difference/progress in the community and beyond. The winner gets to –

Scale up the idea to become a future social entrepreneur.
Eligibility
Applicants should belong to the age group of 18 to 30 years (as on 1st September 2021).
Should be a resident of India.
The project must not be an established commercial venture.
Participants also need to submit the entries describing their work in the form of video that can be uploaded on the website.

Awards
As many as 11 projects will be awarded with a total grant of INR 15 Lakh.
An opportunity for residential mentorship at a premium college/institution to help the winners to further develop and scale their solutions.

Selection process
A multi-stage selection process will determine the winners of Social Innovator Fellowship Program 2021. The selection stages are mentioned below:
All eligible applications will be reviewed and scored basis the following criteria:

Solving a social challenge

Sustainability & scalability

Technology based idea (a mobile app, device) having a positive impact on the underprivileged

Stage of idea implementation towards the impact
Telephonic interview and document verification.
Semi-final round by Schaeffler India team.
A project pitch presentation to Jury panel & leaders (organized by Schaeffler India team) and final interview.
