About Attorney’s Bar
Attorney’s Bar is a legal platform that provides a variety of resources and opportunities for law students and professionals to stay informed and grow in their field. The platform shares news updates and organizes events such as Moots, Courses, Workshops, and several other competitions which allow the legal fraternity to gain valuable knowledge and experience.
The courses and workshops cover a wide range of legal topics and are designed to deepen an individual’s understanding and skills in a specific area. Overall, Attorney’s Bar serves as a valuable resource for law students and professionals looking to stay current and advance in their careers.
About the Event
1st National Mediation Competition, 2023 organized by the Attorney’s Bar in collaboration with Maharashtra National Law University, Aurangabad in association with Nishith Desai Associates, PSL Advocates & Solicitors, and Indian Institute of Arbitration & Mediation (IIAM) as Knowledge Partners with SCC Online & EBC Publishers as Media Partners. Through this competition, we aim to encourage the students to utilize their mediating, negotiating, and social skills to come together and work as a team and draw suitable alternatives to achieve a win for everyone.
The competition is aimed to furnish a strategy that indicates the ever-growing expectation of clients to utilize other cost-effective option dispute resolution devices to trial. It is an excellent program to examine the theory in practice. It enables the participants to embody all parties in the mediation procedure, i.e., the client, the mediation counsel, and the mediator.
Call for Volunteers

The Attorney’s Bar is looking for volunteers to assist them in organizing the 1st National Mediation Competition, 2023.

Applicants should have prior experience in managing such national-level events and should have leadership skills.

Applicants should know the importance and insights of time-keeping and should know how to manage the assigned teams and competition rooms.

Volunteers will be expected to start their work at the event from 13.07.2023 – 16.07.2023, and the mode of working will be virtual/online.

Only those shall apply as a volunteer who is available on 15 July 2023.
Benefits

Every volunteer shall be awarded a certificate of Appreciation.

Volunteers may be offered either INR 250 or a coupon of INR 500 based upon their performance which he/she can avail of during any competition or workshop of the Attorney’s Bar

Free publication in their blog, research paper, and article on the website of Attorney’s Bar or on Social media handles.
