Eligibility Criteria and Team Composition
-
Participation in the competition shall be open to all students enrolled bona fide in a regular undergraduate programme, i.e., 5-Year B.A. L.L.B. or 3-Year L.L.B., offered by a recognized Institution/ College/ University. Students pursuing postgraduate courses shall not be eligible for participation in the competition.

Only one team from any recognized Institute/ College/ University may register for the competition.

Participating teams shall comprise of a maximum of three students, wherein TWO students shall represent as SPEAKERS and ONE student shall represent as a RESEARCHER.

Participating teams shall not comprise of students hailing from more than one Institute/ College/University.

Any request for change in designation of the registered members shall not be entertained. However, in case of extenuating circumstances, permission may be granted on a written request from the Moot Court Committee/Association of the participating Institution/ College/ University.

Any request for an additional participating or accompanying member shall not be entertained under any circumstances.

Accommodation and any other facilities reserved for participants shall be provided only to the registered members of the team.
Language
Registration Procedure and Payment of Fees

The registration fee for the competition is 3500 INR.

The registration process shall commence from 6th December 2019 and shall continue till 10th January 2020.

There are a team cap of 32 (thirty-two) teams in the Competition.

The registration process comprises online registration and payment. Online registration should be made by sending an email, addressed to dsnmcc@dsnlu.ac.in with the subject stated as “Registration for 6th DSNMCC | [Name of participating Institute]”.

Online Registration shall be considered only if a participating team submits the registration form and payment receipt within the stipulated time.

Registered teams shall receive a confirmation of the same and shall be provided with a team code. All the teams shall represent themselves only through their respective team codes in any further communications.

The registration fee is non-refundable.

Registered teams shall send a softcopy of their duly filled registration form and itinerary form on or before 10th January 2020 at dsnmcc@dsnlu.ac.in.
Accommodation, Food and Travel
-
Participating teams shall be provided with accommodation along with lunch and dinner during the days of the competition.

Any team arriving prior to 12:00 P.M. on 13th February 2020 or leaving after 12:00 P.M. on 17th February 2020 shall have to pay an extra amount of Rs. 2500 per day.

Transportation to and from the accommodation to the venue of the competition shall be provided to the participants.
Structure of the Competition
-
The Competition shall be conducted over a period of three days commencing on 14th February 2020 and concluding on 16th February 2020.

The Competition shall consist of the following rounds: Preliminary Rounds, Quarter-Final Rounds, Semi-Final Rounds, Final Round.
Prizes
-
The winning team shall be awarded a trophy and a cash prize of 35,000 INR.
-
The Runner’s Up Team shall be awarded a trophy and a cash prize of 20,000 INR.
-
The Best Memorial shall be awarded a trophy and a cash prize of 15,000 INR.
-
The Best Speaker in Preliminary Rounds shall be awarded a trophy and a cash prize of 10,000 INR.
-
The Best Speaker in Final Rounds shall be awarded a trophy and a cash prize of 10,000 INR.
-
The winning team of the judgement writing competition shall be awarded a trophy and a cash prize of 10,000 INR.
-
The Runner’s Up team of the judgement writing competition shall be awarded a trophy and a cash prize of 5,000 INR.
-
All the members of the participating teams shall be awarded a Certificate of Participation.
-
All the Winners of the above-mentioned category and teams qualifying till the Semi-Final Rounds shall be additionally awarded Certificates of Merit.
