Government Law College, Mumbai in association with the Chief Justice M. C. Chagla Memorial Trust is pleased to announce the 29th M. C. Chagla Memorial Government Law College National Moot Court Competition.
The Moot Court Association of Government Law College has been hosting the M. C. Chagla Memorial Moot Court Competition for several years.
About Moot Court Competition
It began as a city-level Moot Court Competition, which was later expanded to a state-level competition.
Due to the overwhelming response that we have been receiving, the Competition, since its 18th edition, has been raised to a national platform.
Eligibility Criteria
All students of any recognized law college in the country can participate.
Each team shall comprise three students- two speakers and one researcher.
Theme
Constitutional Law with certain aspects of Common Law
Registration Procedure
All the teams shall provisionally register by sending a mail to [email protected].
Only after the provisional registration has been confirmed will a link to a Google Form and details for the payments of registration fees be provided.
The payment of registration fees will be through NEFT of Rs. 2000/-, the details of which will be provided once the provisional registration has been confirmed.

Last date for clarifications: August 20, 2022.

Last date of submission of soft copies of Memorials: September 2, 2022.

Last date of submission of hard copies of Memorials: October 1, 2022.

Preliminary and Quarter-final Rounds (Online): September 24, 2022.

Semi-final and Final Rounds (Offline, Mumbai): October 9, 2022.
