About the Webinar
Today, the legal career has moved beyond practice or litigation. The legal profession has carved diverse avenues for law aspirants. A few years back, the law was all about black coats. Now, the profession has more to offer.
Alternative paths like academia, entrepreneurship, policy-making, or even legal journalism have become the new buzzwords. The aim of the webinar is to share the importance of legal education which cannot be over- emphasized in a democratic society. It is a necessary duty of everyone to know the law.
Ignorance of the law cannot be excused. Thus, legal education not only produces efficient lawyers but also creates law-abiding citizens with human values and rights. In an increasingly complex and interconnected world, it is ever more important that students develop intellectual and practical skills for lifelong learning.
This webinar provides an opportunity to learn how to help students develop these skills in ways that support the content goals of a course. During the webinar, we will have time for reflections, questions, and discussion. The webinar would place the emphasis on various career goals and guidance for the same.
The webinar will enlighten the students regarding the endless possibilities in the ever-evolving fields of law and the solving of queries. They also aim to provide clarity on how a law aspirant can seek out internships and fellowships at law firms.
Furthermore, to gain deeper and varied perspectives we also have prominent and extraordinary members of the legal community on board to share their thoughts and experiences with us.
