PU LLB (Punjab University LLB entrance exam)

The Punjab University LLB entrance exam is conducted by the university for admissions to three-year LLB courses offered at its Department of Law and constituent colleges. The exam is held in a pen-paper-mode test in three languages i.e. English, Hindi, and Punjabi.

PU LLB 202 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admissions through PU LLB should fulfil the eligibility criteria for the course as under:

Educational qualification

  • Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university

  • Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam are also eligible to appear in the exam

Minimum marks required in graduation

  • 45 % for general category candidates

  • 5% concession is available for SC/ST/BC/OBC candidates

Age limit

  • There is no upper age limit for appearing on the PU LLB entrance test

 

PU LLB 2022 Exam Pattern

To have an idea about the examination paper, it is very necessary for the candidates that they are very much aware of the exam pattern. Applicants are highly advised to go through PU LLB 2021 Exam Pattern listed below.

  • Mode of Exam: PU LLB 2021 Examination is the Paper-Based Test (PBT). The exam will be conducted in offline mode.

  • Exam Duration: The duration for the PU LLB 2021 exam is 1.5 hours (90 minutes). Extra 30 minutes will be provided to those candidates who are visually handicapped, differently-abled candidates.

  • Exam Pattern: The PU LLB 2021 Exam will comprise Multiple Choice Questions having 4 sections.

  • Medium of Paper: All the candidates appearing for the examination shall get to choose between the following languages i.e. English, Hindi, Panjabi

PU LLB 2022 Cut off

Punjab University will release PU LLB 2021 cut-off marks after declaring the result of the entrance exam. Candidates seeking admission in the LLB course must have to score at least the PU LLB 2021 Entrance cut-off. Candidates from different categories will have a different cut-off score. The minimum cut-off percentage will be calculated from a total of 75 marks. PU LLB Cut off depends on the following factors:

  • Total numbers of candidates appearing in the exam

  • The difficulty level of the paper

  • No. of candidates qualifying the exam

  • Previous year cut off marks

  • Average scores obtained by the candidate in the entrance test.

  • Availability of the Seat
