Contractor - Legal Counsel

Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Drafting and negotiating:
• Agreements for onboarding third party funds on for their distribution on Fidelity’s funds network. These Agreements to include third party fund provider agreements and side letters / amendments relating to the same;
• ancillary agreements, for example NDAs, Amendments, novation deeds, data processing agreements, and linking agreements and other related documentation.
• Support on one off projects, within legal team and in collaboration with other teams within Fidelity, from time to time;
• Keeping abreast with changes to law or key trends in the industry that have an effect on how we do contracts
• If required, travel to other Fidelity locations

Qualification & Experience

• A qualified lawyer with minimum 3-5 years relevant experience working in financial services sector
• Knowledge of unit linked insurance, both common law and regulatory, will be advantageous.
• Foreign law degree / certifications (preferably UK) desirable.
