Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial contracts and other legal documents ensuring that the company’s interest is protected.
• To analyze and strategize complex commercial deals along with corporate development teams while advising on the appropriate legally compliant structure.
• Assess scope of work, business processes, service levels, commercial and legal aspects of contracts for potential exposure to liability risks arising from use of proprietary data, trademarks, IP, data security and non-standard terms and conditions.
• Communicate and negotiate with external parties include banking partners, merchants, external counsel, public authorities.
• Experience in litigation and dispute resolution.

Qualification & Experience

• B.A. LLB degree holder from a reputed law school with a minimum of seven (7) years PQE in handling legal matters in an organization in the BFSI or payments sector.
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures with a focus on the fintech/payments space.
• Demonstrated skill in effectively communicating (verbal and written) results to a diverse audience; ability to work with in a cross-functional team to achieve common goals.
• High quality drafting skills and and the ability to ensure attention to details.
