Lawyer - Vertical Lead (Grievance Redressal and Strategic Intervention)

Responsibilities

• Managing the Project RPWD Generation. The Project has 10 issues concerning the rights of persons with disabilities that are to be addressed through strategic intervention. The Vertical Lead will be expected to take each of the 10 issues to their logical conclusion,
• Fing complaints/representations/petitions on behalf of persons with disabilities aggrieved by an establishment (private/govemment). These will be filed before the Office of the Chief Commissioner for Persons with Deabilities relevant State Commissioner. jurisdictional High Court or Supreme Court
• Issuing legal notices to various service providers (both private and governmental
• Coordinating with the curent volunteers and interns of Mission Accessibility fo delegate them work from time to time. We have a network of around 15 dedicated volunteers
• Maintaining and initiating new collaborations with different organizations, senior advocates and lawyers.

Experience

• 1-3 years of work experience in litigation.
