Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough legal analyses and in-depth research on a diverse range of legal matters.
• Offer well-informed legal advice to the company and clients based on sound legal principles.
• Draft legal opinions, memoranda, and briefing documents with precision and clarity.
• Review and validate legal materials to ensure alignment with regulations and standards.
• Develop strategic approaches for resolving disputes and ensuring legal formalities.
• Monitor and ensure proper implementation of legal clauses and agreements.
• Skillfully draft, review, and finalize legal notices, agreements, and MOUs to secure compliance and safeguard the company's interests.
• Collaborate closely with the in-house legal team, leveraging your specialized expertise in various legal matters.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research to analyze intricate issues and provide informed recommendations.
• Contribute to the formulation, updating, and implementation of company policies to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
• Provide proficient guidance on media law, intellectual property, contract matters, and other pertinent legal aspects.
• Actively participate in negotiations and discussions with external parties to uphold the company's legal standing.
• Proactively identify potential legal risks and offer strategic solutions for their mitigation.
• Assist in the management of legal disputes and actively contribute to resolution efforts.
• Stay continuously informed about changes in laws, regulations, and industry trends impacting the media sector.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B.) is typically required. A Master's degree in Law (LL.M.) can be advantageous, particularly in specialized areas.
• Bar Association Membership: Active and in-good-standing membership in the relevant bar association or legal governing body is essential.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of practical experience as a Legal Advisor or in a similar legal role, preferably within the specific industry or related sectors.
• Legal Writing: A proven track record of drafting legal documents, agreements, and legal opinions, showcasing strong legal writing skills.
