Legal Associate - Fintech

Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Assist with the review and analysis of legal documents related to the fintech industry, including contracts, regulations, and policies

• Conduct legal research and analysis on fintech-related topics

• Assist with the drafting and review of legal documents, including contracts, policies and agreements

• Collaborate with the business and legal team to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations

• Participate in legal strategy development and implementation

• Stay up-to-date on developments in the fintech industry and relevant legal and regulatory changes

• Provide support to the business team in other matters as needed

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in law or a related field

• 3+ years of experience in a legal or paralegal role

• Strong understanding of fintech and financial regulations. Aware of RBI Guidelines like Regulation of Online Lending, Guidelines on Digital Payments, Guidelines on Issuance and Operation of Prepaid Payment Instruments, FLDG etc

• Experience in legal research and analysis

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other legal software applications
