Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, structure, advise, and review corporate agreements including: venture capital investment documentation (SHA, SPA, etc.), fund investment documentation (LPA, side letters, etc.), intercompany corporate agreements and other corporate matters
• Advise on corporate compliance, and tax matters
• Work on commercial matters including marketing, publishing, licensing, technology and data privacy-related agreements, etc.
• Principal duties will be supporting the corporate development team based in India as it invests in India and surrounding regions.
• Plan and direct related legal affairs and ensure business policies and activities are managed correctly and in compliance with Indian laws and regulations.

Qualification & Experience

• 7-12 years of relevant legal experience in top tier Indian law firm and/or in house legal department at premium companies in India
• Specialized in corporate law, with experience in venture capital investments
• Able to handle individual corporate development matters without direct supervision
• Experience or familiarity with fund investments or fund formation
• Able to handle commercial transactions
