Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Advisory work in the area of trademarks and copyrights, including, but not limited to, risk analysis and portfolio analysis,
• Providing opinions and practical advice on oppositions, cancellations and contested proceedings in general;
• Handling oppositions, cancellations and other contested proceedings from start to finish, including drafting and overseeing drafting of pleadings, evidence affidavits, etc.;
• Handling domain name disputes and online take downs;
• Handling proceedings at the Registrar of Companies;
• Drafting and reviewing various types of agreements, such as coexistence agreements, license agreements, settlement agreements, etc.;
• Excellent knowledge of various provisions of the relevant statutes.
• Apart from the above, the ideal candidate must have excellent analytical and drafting skills and be able to juggle multiple matters.

Experience

• Experience in the areas of copyrights and designs is a plus.
• candidate with between 8-12 years of post-qualification experience
