Chevening Scholarship Programme is designed for international students who are planning to pursue a one-year master’s degree from a top university in the UK.
It is a global scholarship program that is fully funded by the UK Government, Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and partner organisations. It covers tuition fees, travel and accommodation to stay in the UK.
Chevening Scholarship Programme helps the student to completely focus on achieving academic goals and to enjoy the UK cultural experience.

Eligibility and In-Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for Chevening Scholarship Programme, applicants must fulfil all the requirements given below:

The applicant should be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country or territory.

The applicant should return to his/her country at least 2 years after the award has ended.
-
The applicant should have an undergraduate degree or have gained an upper second-class 2:1 honours degree at the time of application to be able to apply for the postgraduate program.

The applicant should have work experience of at least 2 years.

The candidate should have applied to 3 different eligible UK university courses and should have received an unconditional offer from at least 1 of these universities in the UK by July 14, 2022.
The applicants are not eligible for a Chevening Scholarship Programme if they:

hold a British/Dual British citizenship.

hold refugee status in a Chevening-eligible country.
-
have previously studied in the UK with funding from UK Government-funded scholarship.
-
are/were Employee or former employee or relative of the employee working in Chevening Partner Organizations.
-
are staff members of the Association of Commonwealth Universities.
Work Experience
Applicants who do not have at least two years of work experience will not be able to submit their Chevening UK Scholarship application.
