About the Journal
The Journal functions under the aegis of the MK Nambyar SAARCLAW Chair in Comparative Constitutional Studies and the Constitutional Law Society at NALSAR. The annually published and peer-reviewed journal seeks to promote scholarship on core and comparative constitutional law issues.
IJCL aims at providing a source of qualitative and well-researched jurisprudence to constitutional lawyers, academicians, and students, while simultaneously encouraging contributions from all these quarters. In the forthcoming Volume, IJCL seeks to strike a balance between legal realities and academic ideals in its published pieces. Previously, our journal has carried contributions from Prof. Upendra Baxi, Prof. Gary Jacobsohn, Prof. Ran Hirschl, Justice Michael Kirby, and Mr. Soli Sorabjee and Mr. Arvind Datar, among several other eminent academics, judges and practitioners.
About Call for Papers
The Indian Journal of Constitutional Law invites submissions for its twelfth issue, to be published in 2024. In its decade-long history, the Journal has borne witness to outstanding scholarship from leading and budding scholars of our time, spanning the breadth of professors, researchers, and students. This will be a special edition, owing to the festive occasion of the Silver Jubilee celebrations of NALSAR, our home institution.
This edition will feature, in addition to our general repertoire of unsolicited pieces, solicited pieces from our alumni. All pieces are subject to the same review process consisting of multiple rounds of examination.
