About The Journal
The Journal of Intellectual Property Laws is a peer-reviewed ISSN serial journal [ISSN: 2455- 0361] published by the Centre for Intellectual Property Rights, Institute of Law, Nirma University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. It is the endeavour of the Centre for Intellectual Property Rights to become the beacon in the field of Intellectual Property Rights by encouraging synthesis of knowledge and best practices cutting across academia and research fraternity.

- The sub-themes are suggestive in nature and not exhaustive. The authors can amend or choose to write on any other topic of their interest which falls under the main theme of the Journal issue.
Who can submit
- Lawyers, Researchers, Academicians, Ph.D. Scholars, students pursuing the five-year LL.B course as well as the three-year course and students pursuing LL.M. can contribute to the Journal.

Submission Categories
- JIPL welcomes original and previously unpublished works in the following category for publication in its VIII & IX volume.
- Articles: Submissions should provide a comprehensive coverage of the available literature on the concerned topic and a novel perspective on the related issue with suggestions. (Word limit- 3000-6000 including footnotes)
- Essay: Essay should cover a recent development or should be issue specific. An essay functions as a more condensed and succinct Article. (Word limit- 2000-3000 including footnotes)
- Case notes/Case comments: Case comments should entail a critical analysis of recent case laws and policy developments. (Word limit- 2000-2500 words including footnotes)
- Book reviews: We also welcome reviews of books that have made a significant contribution to legal or academic scholarship in the field of Intellectual Property Rights.
- Successful submissions to this category will engage substantively with the ideas and themes explored in the book instead of merely providing a summary of its main arguments. (Word limit- 2000-2500 words including footnotes)
