About the Event
- The Pan-India Online Essay Writing Competition, 2026 is an academic initiative organised by the Pro Bono Club, School of Law and Public Policy, Avantika University. The competition provides a national platform for students, academicians, professionals, and researchers to engage with pressing constitutional questions through structured academic writing and legal analysis.

Prizes
- 1st Prize: 2,000/-
- 2nd Prize: 1,000/-
- Next Three Best Entries: 500/- each
- E-Certificates of Participation for all valid participants
- The decision of the judges shall be final and binding.
Formatting Guidelines
- Word limit: Maximum 1500 words (excluding endnotes, bibliography, and declaration)
- File format: MS Word (.doc/.docx)
- Font and spacing: As per standard academic writing norms
- Footnotes are not permitted
- Endnotes and references are allowed
Selection Guidelines
- Essays will be evaluated by a panel of senior academicians based on:
- Knowledge and understanding of the subject
- Use of evidence and legal sources
- Quality of argumentation and originality
- Structure, clarity, and writing style
- Persuasive force and constitutional reasoning
- Plagiarism, contract cheating, or use of AI-generated content will lead to disqualification.
