About the City Law College
City Academy Law College stands as one of the fastest-emerging law schools in the city. The Institute aims to add new dimensions to legal education that incorporate international standards, thereby providing an environment that enhances freedom and innovation in the dynamic pursuit of thought and civil society engagement to advance the rule of law in our country.

About the Competition
City College of Law (Lucknow), in collaboration with Dream Law, is pleased to extend an invitation to participate in the Samar Kumar Basu National Moot Court Competition, 2023. The Moot Court Competition is scheduled to take place from July 28 to July 30, 2023, via virtual mode.
After successfully organizing our first moot court competition, 94 teams from across India participated and were judged by retired judges, senior advocates, and professors.
The main aim of the competition is to promote commitment to experimental learning and facilitate students’ accumulation of immense knowledge. The Moot Court Competition develops coherent legal insight among students and is essential to developing practical skills.
Eligibility
Students duly enrolled and pursuing full-time 5 years or 3 years of undergraduate law courses may apply to participate in the given competition. Students enrolled in postgraduate diplomas or short-term certification courses are not eligible to apply.
Team Composition
The team composition of the given competition shall comprise two speakers or two speakers and one researcher.

Winner: Trophy + Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand Only) + Books + DreamLaw Certificate Course on Drafting, Pleading and Conveyancing (DPC) Offered by DreamLaw + Internship Opportunity at SKB & Associates (Kolkata) + Certificate of Award.

Runner Up: Trophy + Rs 13,000/- (Thirteen Thousand Only) + Books + DreamLaw Certificate Course on Drafting, Pleading, and Conveyancing + Internship Opportunity + Certificate of Award.

2nd Runner Up: Rs 9,000/- (Rupees Nine Thousand Only) + 50% Discount of DreamLaw Certificate Course on Drafting Pleading and Conveyancing.

Best Speaker (Male): Rs 2,500/-(Rs Two Thousand Five Hundred Only) + Best Speaker Certificate.

Note: A certificate of participation will only be provided if you participate in both the preliminary rounds.
