About the National Moot Court Competition
The Faculty of Law, Kalinga University, Naya Raipur, cordially invites you to the 5 National Moot Court Competition, which is going to be held in hybrid mode on 06th & 07th July 2024 and physical rounds on 17th August 2024. Kalinga University organised the 1 National Moot Court Competition in August 2018, the 2nd National Moot Court Competition in January 2020, and the 3rd National Moot Court Competition in September 2022. The latest edition to the list was the 4th National Moot Court Competition, 2023, under the name “Judex”. The event saw registrations from over 30 teams from all around India to participate in the three-day event from 14 – 16 September 2023.The event organisers recognised the need to organise this competition where law students can be part of a platform where they can draft, plead, and showcase their mooting skills.The Competition is conceived with the aim of promoting & developing skills about the procedure followed by the appellate court and testing the knowledge of law students across the nation.The organisers are positive that the participants will show zeal and enthusiasm in this event and will get to experience powerful arguments from the law students who are on the path of becoming established advocates in the coming time.
Eligiblity
Team members must be valid undergraduate students pursuing a law program or equivalent from a recognisedUniversity / School / Institution. More than one team from
one University / College can participate.
