Andhra Pradesh Common Law Entrance Test (APLAWCET) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by Sri Krishnadevaraya University on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) for admissions to law courses offered at Andhra Pradesh Universities and their affiliated colleges. The exam is conducted in the Computer-Based Test mode for a duration of 90 minutes and the test language is English and Telugu for both five-year LLB and three-year LLB courses.

AP LAWCET Eligibility Criteria
Candidates seeking admissions to law courses on the basis of the AP LAWCET exam need to fulfil the eligibility criteria as under:

Candidates should have completed their two-year Intermediate examination/ Class 12th or equivalent from a recognised university or Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh.

They should have secured at least 45% marks in the Class 12th examination.

Those belonging to the BC category need to have at least 42% marks and those belonging to SC/ ST category need to have at least 40% marks in the qualifying exam.

Three-year LLB course

Candidates should have completed their graduation or postgraduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university.

The minimum qualifying marks for general category candidates are 45%, for BC category are 42% marks and for SC/ ST category candidates, the qualifying marks are 40%.
