Note: General Hindi and General English papers are qualifying in nature. Candidates need to obtain a minimum of 30 marks on these papers to qualify for the Mains exam. The marks of these two papers will not be counted for the final merit list.

Bihar Judicial Service Exam Interview 2020-21
Candidates who qualify for the Mains Exam will be called for a personal interview round, which carries 100 marks. Candidates need to score a minimum of 35% marks in the interview to make it to the Merit List.

Bihar Judicial Service Exam 2020-21 - Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: In order to appear for the BiharJudicial Service Exam 2020, candidates must have an LLB or equivalent degree from an institute that is recognized by the Bar Council of India.

Age Limit: The lower age limit is 22 years and the upper age limit is 35 years for appearing at Bihar Judicial Service Exam. The age relaxation for the OBC category candidates is 3 years and for SC/ST Category is 5 years.

Other: Candidates with the permanent domicile of Bihar and those who belong to the reserved category will be offered relaxation in the upper age limit.

Bihar Civil Judge Salary & Job Profile 2023
The salary of a Bihar Civil Judge ranges between Rs. 27,700 - Rs. 44,700 per month. There are additional perks and allowances offered to someone hired at this position. They are:
- Dearness Allowance (DA)
- House Rent Allowance (HRA)
- Travel Allowance
- Petrol Allowance
The salary of a Bihar Civil Judge is subject to increments with experience and exposure. After a few years of service, Bihar Civil Judges are eligible for promotions to higher judicial services, such as District Judge and Sessions Judge, with higher salaries.
