MH CET Law 2022 Exam Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: Indian/ foreign/ OCI and PIO candidates will be eligible.

Age Limit: There will be no upper or lower age limit criteria.

Appearing: Candidates who are appearing in their final year can also apply.
For 5 Year Courses

Qualification: Candidates must pass the 10th and 12th standard from any recognized board.

Marks Criteria: Candidates must secure a minimum of 50% (40% for reserved category) marks in their qualifying exam.
For 3 Year Courses

Qualification: Candidates must have a graduation or post-graduation degree from any recognized institute.

Marks Criteria: Candidates must secure a minimum of 45% (40% for reserved category) marks in their qualifying exam.
MH CET Law 2022 Exam Pattern
In this section candidates can check the MH CET Law exam pattern:

Exam mode: The examination will be conducted online mode.

Type of Question: Multiple choice questions will be asked in the examination.

Marks: The question paper will be 150 marks.

Time Duration: A total of 2 hours will be provided to the candidates.

Language: Questions will be asked in English and Marathi language.

Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be given for each correct answer.

Negative Marking: There will be no negative marking for the wrong answer.

MH CET Law 2022 Syllabus

The MH CET Law 2021 syllabus includes Legal Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, and Analytical Skills, General Knowledge, English, Basic Mathematics.

Legal Aptitude: This section tests the candidate’s interest in the study of law, research aptitude and problem-solving ability. Questions are framed with the help of legal prepositions and a set of facts to which the said propositions have to be applied. Some prepositions may not be true in the real sense, candidates will have to assume the truth of these prepositions and answer the question drawing well-supported conclusions.

General Knowledge with Current Affairs: In these sections, topics such as History, Geography, General Science, Economics, Civics, Current Affairs of the past year are asked. The subject assesses the knowledge of the candidate in recent happening as well as awareness of the world.

Basic Mathematics: Questions in these sections are from Class 10 and Class 12 levels of various topics including profit and loss, speed and distance, time and work, algebra, average, permutation and combustion, Venn diagrams.

English: Vocabulary (Synonyms, Antonyms, Analogies etc), Proficiency (Idioms and phrases, one-word substitutions, sentence improvement and rearrangement, fill in the blanks etc), English comprehension with a minimum of two passages followed by 5-10 questions that test reading and reasoning abilities.

Logical Reasoning: In this subject, candidates are tested on their ability to identify patterns, logical links and rectify illogical arguments. It includes a wide variety of logical reasoning questions such as syllogisms, logical sequences, analogies, completing arguments, drawing well-supported conclusions, reasoning by analogy, applying principles or rules.

Analytical Reasoning: In this subject, candidates are evaluated on their ability to understand the structure of a relationship and to draw logical conclusions about the structures. It includes reasoning deductively from a set of statements and rules of principles that describe the relationship among persons, things or events.
