Uttar Pradesh Judicial Service Examination: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: The candidate should hold a Bachelor of Laws degree from a reputed University of Uttar Pradesh or the candidate should be an Advocate enrolled under the provisions of the Advocate Act 1961 or the candidate should be a Barrister of England or Northern Ireland or a Member Faculty of Advocates in Scotland. The candidate should be proficient in the Devnagri Script of the Hindi language.

Age Limit: The candidate should over 22 years and less than 35 years as on the date indicated in the notice. In the case of the reserved categories like OBC/SC/ST, some relaxation will be given as per the state government rules.

General Requirements: The candidate should be a citizen of India with sound health, good moral character, and not linked to or have a history in any criminal case involving moral.
Uttar Pradesh Judicial Service Examination: Salary
The salary of the Uttar Pradesh Civil Judge High Court ranges between Rs. 27,700 - Rs. 44,700 per month. Apart from the Uttar Pradesh Judiciary Salary, the civil judge is entitled to get many other allowance and perks and those are as follows.

Uttar Pradesh Judicial Service Examination: Pattern
Civil Judge Pre Exam Pattern is in three rounds. The prelims test will be of multiple choice objective type questions. There are going to be 2 composite papers for the written exam. Paper-I will be of a total of 150 marks and Paper-II will be of 300 marks. The time duration for all the papers will be 2 hours for each individual paper.
