Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Execute class action administration tasks such as claims data entry, settlement claims review, deficiency review, and responding to claimant queries.
- Monitor and manage assigned project inboxes, ensuring timely responses in line with defined turnaround timelines (TAT).
- Develop an understanding of project requirements to accurately address claimant queries.
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation, including procedures, findings, and claimant correspondence.
- Perform self-review of work to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to quality standards.
- Assist in updating SOPs, checklists, and process documentation as required.
- Escalate issues or questions in a timely manner and seek guidance when needed.
- Complete assigned tasks within timelines and meet productivity expectations.
- Accurately track and record time spent on assigned projects.
- Build familiarity with firm tools, systems, and processes through training and hands-on experience.
- Ensures quality control standards are maintained including complying with confidentiality requirements (e.g., client information, personnel information, job-related information, etc.).
- Complies with the professional and Firm requirements (e.g., employee handbook requirements, time entry procedures, etc.).
- Identifies issues/concerns and communicates such items to supervisors.
- Maintains a positive attitude and is receptive to constructive feedback
- Demonstrates ethical behavior.
- Maintains the required CPE for firm and licensing standards.
- Assists in the development of training materials and presentations as required.
- Accepts responsibility for work assigned and follows up on open assignments.
Qualification & Experience
- 0–3 years of experience or exposure to legal administration, consulting, claims administration, or related fields (including internships or academic experience).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform tasks accurately and handle repetitive work with consistency and focus.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to follow structured processes and workflows.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness and ability to quickly learn new systems, tools, and processes, with a strong learning mindset.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, demonstrating reliability, a positive attitude, and professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and awareness of SOPs, process documentation, and confidentiality requirements; relevant certifications (e.g., PMP) are an advantage.
