Review, prepare, draft, negotiate and administer a variety of commercial agreements (e.g., master services agreement, event agreements, statements of work, amendments, change orders).
Engage in critical issue spotting and resolution of issues
Demonstrate understanding of key contractual concepts and risk areas, including but not limited to limitation of liability, indemnification, intellectual property rights, licensing, warranty, confidentiality, information security/data privacy, audit rights and revenue recognition
Collaborate with other Legal Team members and business teams located at the company’s US-based headquarters on issues as they arise
Be responsible for contract management activities, including filing, monitoring and tracking within Lennox’s contract management system
Qualification & Experience
Requires a law degree from an accredited law school in India
4+ years of experience with contract management and contractual risk allocation. Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt to different situations. Excellent problem-solving skills.
Experience working with commercial contracts in a large corporate environment, preferably at a manufacturing company and/or reviewing information technology agreements
Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members as well as different stakeholders across departments
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and managing multiple priorities simultaneously
Proven conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues
Positive, can-do attitude, with eagerness to continually learn and grow
