Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Lead the drafting, review, negotiation, and closure of a wide range of commercial agreements, including vendor, distribution, licensing, SaaS/technology, customer, procurement, and strategic partnership contracts.
- Manage the end-to-end contracting process with enterprise customers, vendors, partners, and other external stakeholders, ensuring legal risks are appropriately managed while supporting business priorities and deal momentum. Commercial mindset - balancing legal risk with business opportunity.
- Advise internal stakeholders on contract risks, obligations, liabilities, risk allocation, commercial terms, and other key legal and commercial considerations.
- Partner closely with business, sales, finance, procurement, product, and operations teams to anticipate legal risks, structure transactions, and develop pragmatic solutions that help close deals responsibly.
- Monitor regulatory developments, interpret implications for the business, and proactively recommend policy/process changes.
- Drive continuous improvement in contract lifecycle management, compliance monitoring, and risk frameworks.
- Strong foundation in contract and commercial laws, with proven experience in high-value contracts and transactions.
- Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to distill complex legal issues into clear, actionable business advice.
- Strategic thinker with sharp problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments with multiple priorities.
- Effective stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across teams.
Qualification & Expeirence
- Qualified LLB with 3-5 years of PQE.
- Experience in a reputed law firm and/or in-house role with exposure to corporate advisory, transactions, and compliance.
- Experience handling cross-border contracts and complex commercial negotiations.
- Possess an analytical and strategic minds.
