Executive Trade mark & Litigation

Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Conduct trademark Copyright & design searches, and clearance activities to assess brand name availability and potential infringement risks
• Prepare and file trademark applications, domain name, and copyright applications ensuring compliance with legal requirements
• Monitor trademark Copyright & design renewals and coordinate necessary actions for maintenance
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on trademark Copyright & design litigation matters
• Assist in managing trademark dispute/court litigation domain name misuse cases and implementing protective measures
• To read and report violations of sections of Trademark regulations and manual provisions to higher-ups
• To report communication from Marketing and other departments to the Head for faster processing
• Achieve departmental goals, and priorities, and ensure effective resource utilization while leading and managing a team
• Work to put into effect trademark strategies, policies, and procedures that are in line with the goals of the organization
• Bring to the notice of the head any trademark violation requiring their intervention
• Guide the team on legal procedures

Qualification & Experience  

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Intellectual Property, or a related field. Trademark and IPR
• 4-5 years in trademark law, brand protection, or intellectual property management
