Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Clear understanding of Indian healthcare compliance landscape, relevant laws, industry codes and practices.
- Work quickly to understand Abbott business structures, practices, compliance policies and procedures to provide policy and documentation advice.
- Build collaborative partnerships with key business leaders to drive consensus and support critical initiatives; align the interests of key business partners to drive common goals and ethical leadership
- Collaborate and consult with cross functional teams to ensure the successful integration and implementation of compliance and ethics.
- Act as Strategic Business Advisor - Consider internal and external factors when analyzing risk and acting as a business advisor, in addition to the need to balance business goals and risk.
- Need to understand business complexities and goals and provide viable solutions.
- Ability to work in a faced paced and highly dynamic work environment – be quick thinking and proactive.
- Ability to drive discussions and establish proactive preventive controls based on strong data analytics.
- Present at Affiliate Quarterly Compliance meetings to the senior leadership, lead discussions and drive closures.
- Develop, implement, and coordinate education and training programs that focus on the elements of the corporate-wide compliance program, particularly related to key values, policies and procedures.
- Monitor, be prepared for, and respond quickly and decisively to changes in the compliance landscape.
- Analyze, diagnose, and anticipate risks.
- Understand and reflect the importance of external focus and business partnership.
- Quickly respond and develop strategies to mitigate and balance potential risks.
- Work closely with compliance counterparts to establish consistent compliance practices across affiliates.
Qualification & Experience
- CA/Lawyer with previous experience in a Compliance Role of a multinational Company.
- Ideally the candidate will have a minimum of 12 years of related professional experience in compliance including some pharmaceutical or health care compliance program experience as either a member of a multinational compliance team, consultant, or outside counsel.
- Experience working with healthcare companies in compliance, legal, audit, monitoring.
