Prepare legal invoices and pre-bills in compliance with client billing guidelines.
Follow matter-specific billing instructions and identify deviations from established billing and management practices.
Review all automated changes generated by billing systems.
Conduct detailed manual reviews of billing entries.
Generate invoice preparation reports and analyse outcomes to identify necessary action items.
Apply legal knowledge to assess staffing, timing, necessity, and reasonableness of billed work.
Communicate with law firms to obtain clarifications, supporting documentation, or consultation when required.
Collaborate with billing, administrative, and accounting personnel to establish processes that support timely and efficient invoice preparation and submission.
Eligibility
Juris Doctorate or equivalent qualification.
Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience.
At least 2 years of Insurance Defense, Workers’ Compensation Defense, or direct experience working with insurance companies.
Ability to read and understand billing guidelines, court documents, and court rules.
