Manager Unsecured Litigation

Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Attending the court proceedings initiated locally at the state level.
• Interacting with police and other law enforcement agencies for executing of summons and warrants.
• Filing of criminal complaint against the defaulted customer to Police personnel's and complaint u/s 156(3) of Cr.P.C. in local Courts.
• Filing of execution proceedings in Arbitration Awards and coordinating the lok adalats and conciliation camps in the respective locations.
• Filing and execution of sec 14 orders under the Sarfaesi proceedings.
• Handling against cases in the respective location including vetting & filing of replies; rejoinders etc.

Qualification & Experience

• Person shall be a law graduate from a reputed institute / university.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a legal professional, with at least 2-3 years of practice in court.
• Shall be working in an NBFC / MFC / Bank in collections litigation.
• Strong knowledge of recovery laws like civil recovery suits u/o 37 CPC; arbitrations; cases under Negotiable Instrument Act / PASSA; criminal compliant; Sarfaesi etc.
• Good market connect with reputable law firms of the region.
• Good communication & drafting skills.
