Senior Associate (General Corporate)

Job Description:

Responsibilities

• Independently manage corporate and regulatory matters from inception to completion.
• Advise clients directly on matters relating to:
• RBI regulations;
• FEMA;
• Payment systems;
• NBFC regulations;
• IRDAI regulations;
• SEBI regulations; and
• PMLA compliance.
• Supervise and mentor junior associates.
• Contribute to the firm’s knowledge management and thought leadership initiatives.
• Build and maintain client relationships.

Eligibility

• Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience in:
• Corporate advisory;
• Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A); or
• Financial regulatory compliance.
• Experience at a law firm or in-house at a regulated entity with genuine transactional ownership.
• Leadership and mentoring experience is mandatory.
• Candidates with litigation and dispute resolution experience alone are not eligible for this role.
