Understand the business needs and asks and drive the legal aspects of all business initiatives.
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide array of agreements and documents, including: Shareholder Agreements, Subscription Agreements, Term Sheets, Employment Contracts, HR Policies, and ESOP documentation
Vendor, Service, and SaaS Agreements, IP Licensing, Assignment, and NDAs
Debenture Agreements, and other investment instruments, Lease Deeds, Data Processing Agreements, and MOUs
Provide legal advisory support to internal teams (procurement, HR, operations, business development).
Ensure ongoing compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements under: Companies Act, Labor & employment laws, IP and data privacy laws, Environmental and sectoral regulations.
Liaise with external counsel on litigation, dispute resolution, and niche legal matters.
Qualification & Experience
LL.B. or equivalent law degree from a reputed institution.(LL.M. is a plus).
5–8 years of post-qualification experience, preferably with a mix of law firm and in-house exposure.
Strong communication, legal drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Experience in startup or corporate legal environments is desirable.
Proficiency in corporate law, commercial contracts, labor laws, IP, and regulatory compliance.
Ability to handle multiple stakeholders and balance legal risk with business objectives
