Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and maintaining legal documents, agreements, contracts, and notices.
- Maintain and organize legal files, records, and documentation in both physical and digital formats.
- Support the legal team in preparing documentation related to land, property, and compliance matters.
- Coordinate with internal departments to collect information and documents required for legal processes.
- Assist in conducting legal research on applicable laws, regulations, and government notifications.
- Monitor contract validity, renewals, and maintain a tracker for legal agreements.
- Liaise with external advocates, consultants, and government authorities as required.
- Ensure all legal documents are properly filed, updated, and easily accessible.
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and legal correspondence.
- Support compliance activities by maintaining statutory records and ensuring timely documentation.
- Participate in due diligence activities related to land acquisition and other business transactions.
- Maintain confidentiality of all legal and company information.
- Take full responsibility of compliances - PF, ESI, Labour Law, POSH , Income Tax.
- Perform any other legal or administrative tasks assigned by the Reporting Manager.
Qualification & Experience
- Basic knowledge of contract law, corporate law, and legal documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good drafting and documentation abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Willingness to learn and work in a dynamic environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B.)
- Freshers are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in English and Kannada (reading, writing, and speaking) is preferred.
