ResponsibilitiesCore Legal Bill Review ResponsibilitiesDrive the results of the LBACOE quality assurance process, as follows:Conduct review invoice lines, applying specialized legal subject matter expert knowledge to context of legal invoice line items.Verify the compliance to legal billing guidelines by law firms and vendor submitting invoices.Verify the accuracy of the UTBMS task codes (Fee, Activity and Expense codes) applied to invoice line items.Independently adjust invoice line items as necessary based on his or her assessment of the legal context of the invoice while utilizing specialized his or her legal subject matter expert knowledge to extract core critical legal terminology and concepts. ResponsibilitiesAct as a strategic liaison translating legal and business needs into scalable product roadmaps and delivery plans. Lead discovery workshops to analyze legal processes and identify automation and transformation opportunities. Translate legal requirements into functional designs in collaboration with engineering teams. Drive development of GenAI-powered solutions, including contract review, risk flagging, and negotiation support. Design and guide retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, agent orchestration, and artificial intelligence control frameworks. Lead end-to-end implementation including configuration, user testing, release planning, and continuous optimization. Significant (12+ years) experience in legal technology delivery, including exposure to generative artificial intelligence solutions. Hands-on expertise with contract life-cycle management platforms, including templates, workflows, approvals, and governance models. Strong understanding of generative artificial intelligence concepts including retrieval augmented generation and evaluation frameworks. Experience integrating enterprise systems using application programming interfaces, webhooks, and data pipelines. Proficiency within the Microsoft ecosystem, including Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and low-code automation tools. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value Proven techno-functional expertise translating legal requirements into scalable technology solutions and collaborating effectively with engineering teams, as well as demonstrated proficiency in developing PowerPoint presentations. ResponsibilitiesAnalyze laws and regulations in India concerning AI to understand their impact on OpenAI and the broader AI community. Develop policy positions on frontier legislation, pending legislation and international standards. Partner with Global Affairs team on regulatory strategy and engagement. Manage Indian regulatory compliance matters. Collaborate with Product Legal teams to support the availability, growth, and responsible deployment of OpenAI’s products and services in India. Contribute to our ongoing improvements to AI governance as regulations come into force. Monitor and keep the broader legal team updated on emerging legislative and regulatory developments related to AI in the APAC region.
