Responsibilities This role will be accountable for successfully leading and managing a team of lawyers/paralegal driving efficiency and quality in relation to providing contracting support to the business and legal clients globally. Provides strategic thinking that allows the team to deliver fast, reliable and consistent contracting support for the organization and is forward-looking and continuously adapting to evolving business needs and regulatory landscape. Guide and ensure quality standards for team and help them build critical skill sets including accountability, technical skills, problem solving and innovation. Drive change, lead, inspire, motivate and develop a team of lawyers. Identify and manage underperformance and provide coaching and support where needed. Contribute pro-actively to driving quality in Contracting and ensuring best practice in contracting work, particularly drafting is current, appropriate and followed. Support the LCN Asia Lead in anticipating and proactively preventing and managing of legal risks facing the company with respect to contracts. Ensure the team of qualified Asian Lawyers/Paralegal are fully trained to properly advise on contracting matters on a global basis. As part of managing a team of lawyers based in Asia, this role will support the LCN Asia Team Lead in ensuring service continuity for the business through shift hours operating model. Familiarity with global privacy law and GDPR. Provide training to the business staff on emerging legal developments as well as improving capability of staff in the business (i.e. Effective Contracting) Manage/Interact with outside counsel as appropriate on discreet issues. Accountable for providing quality contracting support autonomously to the business. This includes providing analysis, drafting and counsel on transactions and contractual advisory/potential disputes, including any related legal, policy, regulatory and compliance issues—integrating legal knowledge with sound business understanding and IT systems supporting contracting process. The role will work on matters of higher complexity with support/ collaboration with other relevant SMEs/ colleagues. Negotiate and draft other legal documents. Conduct research on various legal issues. Perform or support due diligence on proposed transactions. Review and interpret new or pending legislation and regulations impacting contracting to ensure compliance and share knowledge with the rest of the team. Being aware of departmental guidance on best practices, processes, templates, clauses and playbooks. Understands legal and financial risks and implications of contracts. Communicates directly with business clients and participate in general business meetings, teams and projects as required to provide timely, effective legal advice.     Qualification & Experience Qualified lawyer with minimum 11 years’ experience in a law firm and/or in-house, including relevant experience in commercial contracting preferred. Willingness to work flexible hours as this position supports global business in different geographies.  

Responsibilities To be the primary owner of Zeta’s customer agreements with Banks and Fintechs around the world. This would include drafting, negotiating, managing internal and external stakeholders, managing other subject matter experts whose inputs are necessary for such agreements as well as managing external legal advisors assisting the company on such assignments. . Provide legal advice and opinions on all legal matters that impact the business and provide innovative solutions to minimize/manage the legal risks involved with the company’s business operations in various jurisdictions around the world. To communicate effectively and lead discussions with internal stakeholders (such as management, leadership teams, Finance, HR, Information Security etc) and external stakeholders (customers/clients, vendors, investor representatives, industry association representatives). To constantly improve and evolve the drafts and templates created by the legal team, from learnings from each customer. Strive to simplify drafting in order to achieve quicker turn-around-times and to make legal agreements easier for non-legal stakeholders to understand. To be a business enabler and work in a manner where the legal team is aligned to the speed of delivery and culture of teamwork within Zeta.     Qualification & Experience 5 year BA.LLB (Hons) degree from a reputed national law university/college. LLM or post graduate degree in law from a reputed international law university specifically in the field of technology law. Post Qualification Experience: 10-12 years in a top tier law firm within the technology law practice of the firm; and/or As an in-house counsel in a SaaS Technology Company (persons with prior experience in law firms, but currently working as in-house counsel will be preferred over persons with no prior law firm experience).  

Experience Associates with 1-3 years of experience, within our burgeoning Private Equity and Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) Practice Areas.   

Qualification & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in law 10+ years of experience in contract management or other relevant experience with a law firm or corporate legal department 13-15 years’ experience predominantly in the IT/Technology industry – prior experience in software product company is preferred. Must have a good exposure in drafting, review, and negotiation of customer contracts (Government, Prime contractor and Subcontractor) in US, Europe and APAC region. Experience of working on RFPs/Tenders including US Federal/State Govt contracts on compliance and subcontracting. Sound knowledge or prior exposure of dealing with reseller/partnership agreements. Have exposure on dealing with export-control regulations (ITAR, etc.), CCPA/Safe Harbor, HIPAA compliance, FCPA compliance, etc. Experience of working on IP, Licensing and data protection related matters or assignments. Worked on legal assignments independently by using analytical and logical skills from risk mitigation perspective.  

Our increasingly international data practice has a few roles -   Experience For two newly qualified lawyers; For a technology lawyer with 1-2 years of relevant experience; and For a cybersecurity / technology consultant (non lawyer) with 3-5 years of experience.    

They have two open positions in our fintech and healthtech practice areas. 2-3 years PQE who have had client interactions. One open position in our data protection practice group (relevant 2 years experience is mandatory) One position as a research associate in our technology practice group.  

Responsibilities Drafting non- disclosure agreement, memorandum of understanding Conducting extensive due diligence for acquiring companies/properties Drafting collaboration agreement, Joint Venture Agreement, Loan Agreements, Banking documents, related party agreement, Joint Development Agreement, Long Term Lease deed etc. Contract Management: negotiating, drafting and reviewing agreements / documents covering financial, commercial, information technology, HR related contracts Intellectual Property Rights: Protection of all intellectual property rights of the company by registration Identifying the relevant IP of the company post discussions with stakeholder and filing for registration Legal Research: Conducting legal research on various issues and provide advice and legal opinions pertaining to various commercial, business and contractual issues and matters     Qualification & Experience An ideal candidate will be someone who find himself/herself meeting below traits: LLB with experience in Corporate Legal department 12-13 years of experience in relevant areas (Acquisition, Mergers, Joint Venture, Collaboration) with 3-4 years (current/previous) of experience in a Law Firm
