About the Organiser REVA University has been established under the REVA University Act of 2012.   About the Competition The Three-Day National Moot Court Competition aims at inspiring, promoting, and inculcating in law students drafting and writing techniques, engaging in legal oration, high-focus research acumen, and also subjecting them to the judicial trends in various fields of litigation in India and abroad.   Eligibility The Competition is open to all bona fide regular students enrolled in any undergraduate law course or it’s equivalent in any University or Institute in India recognized by the Bar Council, State Government, or Central Government, as the case may be. Each college/institution/university may send a maximum of 2 teams.   How to Register? The link is shared below this post for interested candidates.   Prizes Winner- Rs 20,000/- and Trophy Runner-Up– Rs. 15,000/- and Trophy Best Researcher: Rs. 5,000/- and Trophy Best Speaker: Rs. 5000/- and Trophy A certificate of participation shall be provided to all participants. About Adamas University The Adamas University has been established by Sachis Kiran Roy Memorial Trust (SKRMT) (under the West Bengal Act IV of 2014) passed by The West Bengal Legislature and approved by The Governor. The provisions of The Adamas University Act, 2014, have come into effect on 11th April 2014, through a notification issued by The Govt. of West Bengal on the same day. Adamas University, nestled in Barasat. Kolkata aspires to impart the finest quality education to the young minds of India, with an already established high-quality research facility and a powerful team of teachers. The exercise of mooting teaches students skills that are of utmost importance for solving complex legal problems and diligent advocacy in the court. Law Schools play an important role in instilling and encouraging the growth of law students by hosting debates, panel discussions, International Conferences and moot court competitions as well as encouraging research and legal writing on the subjects. As a result, the School of Law and Justice, at Adamas University is organizing a two-day National Moot Court Competition. The Moot Court Committee of Adamas University is a student-led body that works in coordination with the administration and the authorities for organizing various moot court activities. Annually, the Committee organizes National Moot Court Competitions.   Eligibility Students duly enrolled and pursuing full-time 5 years or 3 years of undergraduate law courses from India or from a foreign university with the law as a major may apply to participate in the 3rd NATIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION, ADAMAS UNIVERSITY. Students enrolled and pursuing a post-graduate diploma or short-term certificate courses in law is not eligible to apply. A maximum of 5 Teams from one University/ College can participate.   How to Register? Each team shall register for the 3rd National Moot Court Competition, School of Law and Justice, Adamas University by filing a registration form, in the prescribed manner by 20th December. On receipt of the duly filled registration form, the institute shall respond to the participating team, acknowledging the receipt. After the deadline for registration expires, the Moot Court Committee shall respond to each registered team, with a unique team code, which shall be used to identify the teams during the competition. Bring a Hard Copy of the Bonafide Certificate duly signed and sealed by the competent authority of the institution.   Registration Fees The registration fee for the competition is INR 1500/- for teams not availing of accommodation and INR 4000/- for teams availing of accommodation and registration. Fees in any case are non-refundable. The registration fee for the 3rd National Moot Court Competition is to be paid through NEFT transfer or UPI. No other payment method shall be accepted. About MNLU Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai, established in 2014, is one of India’s premier National Law Universities. MNLU Mumbai was established with a commitment to foster an environment of excellence in research, scholarship, education, and justice.   About Justice M. L. Pendse Chair in Environmental Law Due to an observable lack of legal academia dedicated to Environmental Law in India, the Justice M. L. Pendse Chair in Environmental Law aims to foster legal environmental education by promoting and undertaking research activities exclusively in the field, in collaboration with national and international stakeholders.   Eligibility All students enrolled bona fide in an Undergraduate of Law, i.e., three years/ five years from any College or University shall be eligible for participation in the Competition. Each College/University/Institution shall be allowed to register only one team in the Competition.   Team Compositions A team can have a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 3 members. In the case of 2 members team, both of them shall be the speakers and any one of the two may appear for the researcher’s test.   In the case of a 3 members team, two team members shall be speakers and one will be a researcher. Any change in the team’s composition will not be entertained once the memorials have been submitted, except in medical emergencies.   How to Register? Interested candidates may register for the competition through the link provided at the end of this post. While filling out the form, the teams have to provide a Point of Contact (P.O.C.). All official communication will be made with the said P.O.C., who, in turn, will be responsible for conveying all relevant information to the team. Any changes in the contact details of any team members shall be notified to the O.C. immediately. This obligation shall continue throughout the period of the Competition. The O.C. from the Registration Forms will prepare all Certificates for every participating team member. Thus, it is incumbent upon the participants to ensure that their names are spelt correctly.   Registration Fees The Initial Registration Fee for the teams will be INR 2,000 for the memo qualifier round, and post-team selection would be INR 9,000. The registration fee will be non-refundable and paid by all teams, irrespective of their participation in the Oral Rounds. About All India Lawyers Union The  All India Lawyers Union has formed 39 years ago under the patronage and guidance of Justice V. R. Krishna Iyer, Justice H. R. Khanna, and Justice A.C. Gupta, who were the icons of the Indian judiciary. Since its formation in 1982, AILU has always remained steadfast in protecting and upholding the democratic rights of the legal fraternity and has also joined hands with the people’s struggle for a brighter tomorrow.   About the Competition The All India Lawyers Union Ernakulam District Committee organizes the 1st C.P. Sudhakara Prasad Memorial National Moot Court Competition in 2022, envisioning a bright future where mooting is an inclusive experience that enhances the legal proficiency and courtroom decorum of students.    Eligibility Criteria Participation is strictly restricted to Bonafide undergraduate law students pursuing the three years or five years LL.B. degree program from the Institution/University recognized by the Bar Council of India.    Registration Procedure Each team shall register for the competition by filling out an online registration form no later than November 15, 2022.  The teams shall register through the link given at the end of this post. In case of any difficulties, the form can also be requested from the organisers by any eligible student.  Once a team is registered, the organisers will assign a team code. About the Organizers The National Academy of Legal Studies and Research is a National Law University located in Shameerpet, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Established in 1998.   About the Competition NALSAR has previously organized several premier moot court competitions and has witnessed the participation of the brightest brains in law schools around the country. In keeping with this tradition, the university is organizing the 15th edition of the NALSAR-Justice B.R. Sawhny Memorial Moot Court Competition in collaboration with the Justice Bodh Raj Sawhny Memorial Trust. In the last edition, we hosted Hon’ble Justice (Retd.) K.G. Balakrishnan, former Chief Justice of India as our chief guest for the Valedictory Ceremony, and Mr. Vivek K.
