ResponsibilitiesContract Operations Manage the end-to-end contracting process through the CLM platform, from intake to execution and storage. Perform first-pass review of standard agreements (e.g. NDAs, standard vendor agreements, sales contracts, amendments) using the legal playbook. Identify non-standard provisions and escalate to legal counsel where appropriate. Coordinate internal approvals across legal, procurement, finance, and commercial teams. Track contract execution and ensure accurate storage and metadata capture within the CLM repository. Monitor renewal dates, key contractual obligations, and contract lifecycle events. CLM Platform Contribute to day-to-day administration of the CLM platform, including configuration and workflow management. Assist with the design and maintenance of contract workflows, intake forms, approval routing, and automation rules. Help build and maintain contract templates, clause libraries, and document automation within the CLM environment. Troubleshoot system issues and ensure reliable platform performance. Process Improvement & Analytics Help the legal team to Continuously improve contracting processes to reduce cycle times and remove bottlenecks. Analyse contracting data and provide reporting on metrics such as cycle time, negotiation points, and workflow performance. Identify opportunities to introduce automation, standardisation, and improved templates. Support adoption of the CLM platform and best practices across the business. Enablement & Support Act as the primary point of contact for CLM and contract process questions. Provide training and guidance to business users on contract workflows and tools. Work with legal counsel to maintain contracting playbooks and ensure templates reflect current legal and commercial policies. Qualification & Experience Experience in contract operations, legal operations, contract management, or commercial contract administration. Hands-on experience working with a contract lifecycle management platform such as Ironclad CLM, Icertis Contract Intelligence, DocuSign CLM, or Agiloft CLM. Experience reviewing and triaging standard commercial contracts using playbooks or fallback positions. Demonstrated ability to design or improve contract workflows and operational processes.
