Legal Aid Society, Faculty of Law, Integral University is organizing a National Article Writing Competition on ‘Dropping of Criminal Proceedings-A Case for Economic Fugitives’.   About Legal Aid Society, Faculty of Law, Integral University Imparting legal awareness is the first step towards ensuring prompt and effective access to justice. Keeping this in mind, the Bar Council of India mandated all law colleges and universities in India to establish and run legal aid centers or clinics. The idea was to fulfill certain standards of legal education, but more importantly, it was also aimed at engaging the students in serving their community by promoting legal awareness through these legal aid clinics and programs. Following the same mandate the Legal Aid Society, Faculty of Law, Integral University was established, for providing free legal aid services for free to the needy or the poor section of the society, who are not capable of affording a legal representative for them who can fight a case for them, so the government has brought out the service for free legal aid to the needy people; to fulfill the objective of Article 39A of the Constitution of India.   About the Article Writing Competition Effective writing is a form of art, which only certain people possess. The main objective of this article writing competition is to convey the thoughts to the people and give information regarding the details which can be useful and helpful. With the help of a matter of interest, to convey the very idea of one perspective, a good article requires a lot of research information intertwined with suggestions and advice, which the author believes to achieve the attention of the reader. Dr. Jeppiaar 3rd All India Virtual Moot Court Competition 2022, to be held from April 28 to 30, 2022.   Eligibility and Team Composition Students pursuing their bachelor’s degree in Law, i.e., either 3 year or 5-year courses from all law colleges/institutions/universities across the country recognized by the Bar Council of India are eligible to take part in the competition. All three members of a team should belong to the same institution, cross-institute teams are strictly ineligible to participate in the Col. The Judgment Writing Competition, 2022 has been conceived with the aim of promoting skills of interpreting and applying legal concepts to facts and drafting judgments. On the occasion of World Water Day, the NSS Unit of NLU Assam is organizing a National PowerPoint Presentation Competition- ‘Pradarshan’.   About the Organizer The National Service Scheme (NSS) is a Central Sector Scheme of the Government of India by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. This platform provides opportunities to the students ranging from +2 Board level to Technical Institution, Graduate & Post Graduate at colleges and University level of India to take part in various government led community service activities & programs. Since the inception of the NSS in the year 1969, the number of students strength increased from 40,000 to over 3.8 million up to the end of March 2018 in various universities, colleges, and institutions of higher learning who have volunteered to take part in various community service programs. Participants must register and select the topic before the due date to be eligible for participation. A maximum of 10 teams will be considered for the competition on first come, first serve basis. Registration is free of cost. Topics once selected will not be changed under any circumstances. Each participant can register only once. A maximum of 1 co-participant is allowed to take part in the competition along with the team coordinator. So, a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 2 participants can register under a team. The participants will be required to make the payment within 3 days of the receipt of the email of acceptance of provisional registration. There will be a maximum cap of 24 participants. The registrations will be accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis and any change in the registration must be informed to the organizers at the earliest.  The participants will be required to pay ? 1600 as registration fees once their provisional registration is confirmed by the organizers. The propositions for the first two rounds will be released 24 hours prior to the commencement of the competition (i.e. on April 7, 2022) which will revolve around Competition Law, Intellectual Property Law, Constitutional Law and Criminal Law.  Client Counselling Competition, 2022 The participants shall be from any of the 3 Year LLB or 5 Year Integrated LLB Course. The Innovative Institute of Law, Greater Noida is organizing the 1st National Moot Court Competition, 2022 from 29th April to 1st May, 2022.   About Innovative Group of Colleges Innovative Welfare and Educational Society (Regd.) was incorporated more than a decade back with the avowed objective of dissemination of literacy amongst the under-privileged segment of society in India and to provide an impetus to growth of professional education in varied streams for self-reliance amongst future generations.   About the Innovative 1st National Moot Court Competition 2022 Innovative First National Moot-Court Competition, 2022 is the first edition of the Moot – Court Competition organized by Innovative Institute of Law, Greater Noida, U.P. The event aims to construct a productive platform where young legal minds come together and showcase their skills which are far more valuable than winning or being eliminated in an event.   Eligibility The Competition shall be open for Students duly enrolled and are pursuing an integrated 5years or 3 years Law Program in India from an institution recognized by the Bar Council of India. Students enrolled and pursuing a post-graduate diploma or short-term certificate courses in law are not eligible to apply. The Department of Intellectual Property Law of TNDALU & TNSCST is jointly organizing National Seminar on April 23, 2022.   About the Organization The Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University (TNDALU) is a public state university established in 1997 in Chennai, India by the Government of Tamil Nadu under The Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University Act, 1996, which also brought all law colleges in Tamil Nadu under the control of the university. The Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology (TNSCST) serves as a liaison between the Government of India and the State Government to initiate, supervise and conduct successful research by giving opportunities to rural, unemployed and economically backward researchers with the sole aim of promoting and inculcating quality research.   About the Seminar Every April 26, it’s celebrated as World Intellectual Property Day to learn about the role that intellectual property (IP) rights play in encouraging innovation and creativity. World Intellectual Property 2022 recognizes the huge potential of young people to find new and better solutions that support the transition to a sustainable future.
