About Madras Bar Association
The Madras High Court was established in the year 1862 by a Royal Charter. Barristers who were practising in the High Court formed an Association in the year 1865.
About the Workshop
This workshop is chaired by our Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) N.S.Santhoshkumar, to facilitate the students of legal education across Tamil Nadu to develop their skills. In the modern era, most of law graduates are moving towards the Corporate field and hesitate to enter the legal fraternity.
This is due to the absence of advocacy skills. With the support and assistance of our Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, we planned to conduct three days of national-level workshops on the art of advocacy. This workshop will provide a basic structure of advocacy, presentation, communication, personality development and drafting skills.
The eminent speakers of the workshop include Hon’ble Judges of the High Court of Madras, Advocate General, Additional Solicitor General and Senior Counsels from the Madras High Court who will impart their valuable knowledge on the theme of the workshop. The main objective of this workshop is to inculcate the law students about the various nuances of advocacy.

Registration Fee
Rs. 600/- (Including Registration Fee, Conference Kit, Tea & Snacks, Lunch for 3 days). Registration Fee should be paid by way of either G-pay/NIFT/IMPS. Cash or On-spot Registration is not permitted.
